Veterinarian Technician October 2008 (Vol 29, No 10)

State News: Texas (October 2008)

Three veterinary technicians and a groomer at the Cinco Ranch Veterinary Hospital in Katy, Texas, recently donated 10 inches of their hair to Locks of Love to raise awareness about breast cancer. Marybeth Hibler, RVT, Natalie Fisher, Gina Russell and Becky VanGundy participated in Locks of Love in honor of two coworkers who were diagnosed with breast cancer. "We wanted to donate our hair to help and let [our coworkers] know we care," said Marybeth. "This act of caring would be simple for all veterinary staffs across the country to replicate."
