ALACHUA, Fla. — Nine veterinary practice managers earned the distinction of Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) by passing the certification examination offered by the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA).

The newest certified practice managers are:

• Kristy Folz (Carlsbad, Calif.)
• Amanda Joyce Foster (Mandeville, La.)
• Laurie Jo Miller, RVT, CVT (Tolleson, Ariz.)
• Heather Prendergast, RVT (Las Cruces, Mich.)
• Mandy Price, BS (Phoenix, Ariz.)
• Susan Stitzel (Melbourne, Fla.)

This certification program measures the knowledge and experience necessary to manage the business environment in veterinary practices and requires commitment through continuing education. The CVPM designation is VHMA's highest professional distinction.
