SAVANNAH, Ga. — Case Veterinary Hospital is celebrating its 100th year by hosting a birthday party on Saturday, April 25 from 1 pm to 4 pm. The party, which is open to the public, will take place at the hospital, on 111 Eisenhower Drive.
Partygoers are invited to take part in the free face painting, moon bounce, police dog demonstration, behind-the-scenes hospital tour, children's games, demonstrations of endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery, door prizes, sodas, hot dogs and snowcones.
The hospital will be closed during the event but a "Stuffed Animal Surgery Unit" will be available for children to bring their favorite stuffed animals in need of repair. The children will actually assist in the "surgery."
The hospital will provide a golf-cart ferry to and from the parking lot throughout the event.
