Pets Add Life Video Campaign Promotes Joys of Owning Multiple Pets

First of five-part series to promote the benefits of multiple pet ownership

GREENWICH, Connecticut, June 14, 2012—Pets Add Life (PAL) viral video, "Pet Interviews: Guinea Pig," has reached thousands of views since its debut in May and is the first in a series of five debuting this summer to help spread PAL’s primary mission to promote the joys and benefits of multiple pet ownership.

“After seeing the success and positive feedback from our first video this year, we look forward to sharing the next four,” said APPA President Bob Vetere. “Not only are they clever and entertaining, but they each help spread PAL’s message in a fun way while encouraging multiple pet ownership of animals of all types.”

To view PAL’s videos or more information on the Pets Add Life campaign, visit http://www.PetsAddLife.org.

“Pet Interviews: Guniea Pig” is produced by the famous creator of the wildly popular ‘Ultimate Dog Tease’ YouTube hit, Andrew Grantham. Grantham’s videos have received more than 100 million views and were named No. 2 on YouTube’s Top 10 videos of 2011.

Founded by the American Pet Products Association (APPA), the non-profit PAL campaign is designed to demonstrate the joys and benefits of responsible pet ownership and encourage increased animal adoption.
