CareCredit Introduces New Tablet App For Veterinary Practices

    CareCredit mobile app

COSTA MESA, California—CareCredit continues to make care possible with mobile-optimized technology and features that give pet owners convenient ways to learn about and apply for CareCredit’s healthcare credit card on their smartphone or in-office on their veterinary practice’s tablet device. The smartphone-optimized website and app put CareCredit information, an application, and key website functions at pet owners’ fingertips as follows:

For Pet Owners: CareCredit’s mobile-optimized version of its website www.carecredit.com, enables pet owners to obtain information and apply for CareCredit’s healthcare credit card at their veterinary practice or practically anywhere via their smartphone. Submitting an application via smartphone only takes a couple of minutes. Similar to landline phone and online applications, with the smartphone-optimized website, pet owners receive a credit decision almost instantly and upon approval, are given their account information, so they can immediately use the program to care for their pet. Pet owners can also easily find other healthcare practices that accept CareCredit, using CareCredit’s Doctor Locator feature and searching by name, location or phone.

For Veterinary Practices: Additionally, CareCredit has released a web-based application designed for in-office use by veterinary providers who accept CareCredit as a payment option. With the app, a practice-owned iPad™ or other tablet device can be used by clients while they are in the veterinarian’s office to learn about CareCredit, view monthly payment options and amounts, and apply on their own.

The free app is available for download at www.carecredit.com/provider/tablet. “Our goal was to provide additional convenience for mobile device users,” said David Fasoli, CEO and President, CareCredit. “The smartphone option enables clients to apply for CareCredit from their phone, receive an almost immediate credit decision and move forward with the care their pets need.”
