Thoracoscopy: Port Placement

    Placement of a thoracoscopic instrument port is often easier if a mosquito or Kelly forceps is used to bluntly dissect a small incision into the thoracic cavity before insertion of the cannula. Note the cranial mediastinal mass in this dog. Read related article
