Surgical Views: Incisional Gastropexy for GDV: Apposition of the Cranial Margins

Video 2. Apposition of the cranial margins of the antral and abdominal wall incisions. Suturing is facilitated by having an assistant lift the abdominal wall while rotating it to expose the incisions. The cranial margins of the incisions are approximated first. The reenforcing suture is placed, followed by the primary suture pattern. The primary closure suture line is continued medially until it is tied.
